Description: *As per title this Final Fantasy 14 review will have story SPOILERS only for content leading up to, but not including, patch 5.4 of Shadowbringers* After a solid year of slamming through MSQ and story content of Final Fantasy 14 at break neck speed, its time to hit my first proper FF14 review. Patch after patch of some of the juiciest Final Fantasy content I've experienced in years has left me utterly amazed at what the Final Fantasy 14 team at Square Enix has produced with this game. An MMORPG that hits all the notes of engaging characters, HIIIIIGGHHHH fantasy but remarkably grounded story concepts, beautiful environments, ost theme songs that just keep getting all the more glorious and more nostalgia than this fanboy can handle. This Shadowbringers review is frankly a shameless hype fest of everything Final Fantasy 14 won my heart over with. I do attempt some critique at the end but really, this expansion succeeded in making me feel the way Final Fantasy games did during my childhood. That alone is enough for me to hand this title a subjective 10/10. Looking forward to proceeding into 5.4, I have recently started the MSQ after finishing the latest Eden raids.
